THE QUESTION
What are we working on?
Outlets can emphasize different people, numbers or policy implications when covering the same event. Comparing the coverage often means searching across several websites.
AN INNOV4IMPACT PROJECT
Tongwen | Taiwan News Comparison
Compare original headlines from different outlets covering the same public event in Taiwan, and follow each link to the original reporting.
THE APPROACH
A traceable way forward.
Starting with Taiwan’s local executive elections and national policy, Tongwen groups coverage by event and shows each outlet’s original headline, publication date and link. Event pages cite the sources for verified information and compare the details and wording each headline emphasizes.
BUILD WITH US
